How much does Penmark cost?
Signing and filling are free — try every feature on any document. To download the finished PDF you need a plan: Personal is GH₵10 a month (or GH₵90 a year) for unlimited downloads, and Teams is GH₵18 per seat a month. Pay with Mobile Money or card.
Will I be charged automatically?
No. Plans are prepaid for a month or a year and never renew by themselves. Buy again whenever you like — any time you have left is kept and added to.
Are my documents uploaded anywhere?
No. Penmark opens, renders, fills and signs your PDF entirely inside your browser. The file is stored only on your device so you can come back to it, and you can delete it at any time.
Is an electronic signature made with Penmark legally binding?
In most countries — including under the US ESIGN Act, UETA and the EU eIDAS regulation — a simple electronic signature is legally valid for the large majority of everyday agreements. Some documents, such as wills or certain property deeds, may need a qualified signature or a witness. Penmark appends an optional audit certificate with a SHA-256 fingerprint of the original file and a timestamp.
Can I fill an existing PDF form?
Yes. When a PDF has fillable fields, Penmark detects every text box, checkbox and dropdown, lists them in order and walks you through them. For flat, scanned or non-fillable PDFs you can click anywhere to type, tick, date or sign.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Penmark works in any modern browser on iPhone, Android, iPad, Mac, Windows and Linux. Drawing your signature with a finger or an Apple Pencil feels natural because strokes are pressure-smoothed.
What formats can I download?
A standard PDF, a Secure PDF (every page flattened to an image, so text cannot be copied or edited), Word (.docx), and PNG or JPG images — one per page, zipped together when there are several. Every format is made on your device.
Is there a browser extension?
Yes. With the Penmark extension for Chrome, Edge and Brave you can right-click any PDF link or image and choose “Sign & fill with Penmark”, or open the Penmark side panel — it lists every PDF on the page you are reading, ready to sign in one click.
What happens to the original file?
Nothing. Penmark keeps your original untouched and produces a new, signed copy. Form fields can be flattened so nobody can edit them after you sign.
Does Penmark work offline?
Once the page has loaded, opening, signing and filling all run locally, so a dropped connection never loses your work. Downloading needs a brief connection to confirm your plan.
